Our mission is to provide safe and high quality products. Hence, our QA team members take frequent inspections and even station in factories. We drive quality policies and objectives via:
- - Goods Inspection
- - Factory Evaluation
- - Product Safety & Quality Standards’ Education
All business partners are expected to be eco-friendly. We are alert to wasteful behavior such as reminding our colleagues to save electricity and water, to print fewer hard copies of e-mails, and to advocate our business partners to purchase office equipment with energy-saving label. We also promote this green culture by providing self-designed shopping bag which is made of recyclable materials to business partners, and have earned the reputation of “Green Participant”.
We help our business partners to understand and calculate total carbon footprints, and provide constructive advices on the reduction of energy consumption, manufacturing waste and environmental damages.
As a member of Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), Hanbo strives to pursue a focused sustainability strategy and reduce the environmental and social impacts of apparel products.
Hanbo supports the development and use of the Higg Index, which is also the focus of SAC. The Higg Index is a “one-stop-shop” tool for measuring the environmental and social performance of apparel products. It has become essential for us to develop and measure our supply chain sustainability. We have used Facility Module self-assessment to evaluate factories. Besides adoption of this industry standard for sustainability performance, we work closely with key supply chain stakeholders to encourage broader implementation of Higg Index and create more values for global supply chain and environmental sustainability.
